L3 win league, and final club standings

Ladies Section

The ladies section enjoyed a year of success, with the Ladies 3s being the standout story - finishing top of Div 5 NW unbeaten (W19 D1 L0, 113 GF 7 GA).

They will be in Div 4NW this coming season alongside fellow promotees Cambridge Uni 4s, in a division that features local rivals St Neots 3s, and March Town 1s.

The ladies 4s also enjoyed success in the same division, finishing a very respectable 4th with 9 wins, 4 draws and 7 losses, scoring 27 and conceding 34

The ladies 1s also finished 4th in division 2NW, with 14 wins 5 draws and 3 losses, scoring 70 (the most in the division) and conceding 26 - ending up just 6 points short of promotion, and only 3 points separating 3rd to 5th. They will be joined by two St Neots teams in 2023/4 as they push for promotion.

The ladies 2s unfortunately fell just short of promotion from Div 3NW with a 3rd place finish just 3 points behind 2nd. The L2s won 14 games, drew 2 and lost 6, scoring 76 and conceding 28 in the process.

Mens Section

The Mens 1s had a fantastic season in their new division, having won promotion in 2021/2 to Div 1N. Scoring 75 they conceded 51 and were, until an unfortunate 6-5 loss to Dereham, in real contention for promotion - the season ending with just 6 points between 1st and 5th, and then just one point between 3rd and 5th.

Results for the rest of the mens section were less fantastic - the Mens 2s finished in 9th of 2NW, comfortably avoiding relegation with 7 wins and 4 draws, scoring 62 whilst conceding 67. They will be in 2NW again for 2023/4 with local rivals St Neots 1s

The Mens 3 has a good consolidation season, having been moved up 2 divisions in the 2022 reshuffle, maintaining 8th place with 6 wins and 3 draws. They will be joined by Cam Uni 3s in their division for 2023/4

The mens 4s suffered a 13th place finish winning just 4 games and drawing 3, with relegation to 5NW for the 2023/4 season - however with a new division being formed, they remain a division above the Mens 5s. The Mens 5s finished 12 in division 5NW winning 2 games and drawing 4, and they will be in 6NW in 2023/4 , a new division including a few previously NE teams and a development team
