The mens 5's travelled to cambridge south development for a lunchtime pushback in the sun for what tends to be a good hearted game.
The result 6-0 loss (0-0) due to a development game so a clean sheet and a draw against a strong team with a few certain players who wouldn't look out of place a league or two above us.
Looking at the positives it was great to see two of our youngsters make their first steps into senior hockey and look comfortable against senior players, despite the draw it was great to see the juniors stay positive but also say how much they enjoyed the game. As a team we stayed postive and didn't allow the result to get us down but also tried to encourage our new generation of players as they start their senior club journey.
Next week we travel to newmarket for another development game and look forward to seeing our youngsters flourish again.
